This system also maintains a clean, streamlined look while optimizing the bike’s mechanical efficiency.

Carbon Fiber Layup

Material Selection – Using the latest carbon fiber composites, the 2025 GRIT achieves an ideal balance of stiffness and compliance.

Torayca Carbon Fiber Construction – The Grit is built using Torayca carbon fiber, Japan’s top-tier carbon fiber fabric, which has been a staple in Nich Cycling’s production. The frame primarily uses Toray 800 as the base material, strategically blended with various other carbon fiber grades to optimize each tube and section. Certain areas of the frame require flexibility and compliance to absorb road vibrations and improve rider comfort, while others demand extreme stiffness for peak pedaling efficiency, such as when climbing steep hills or sprinting to the finish line.
